Chicken Soup For the Soul Newsletter

Every month Chicken Soup sends out a newsletter to its authors. I was scrolling through, when suddenly I saw my own face staring back at me on the computer screen. What? I'm in the newsletter!

What happened was...when the newspaper reporter who interviewed me contacted Chicken Soup for a quote for his article on me, Amy Newmark, publisher of Chicken Soup gave a fairly long complimentary quote about my story. So I wrote her a thank you note and added the fact that I almost didn't do the interview, but decided to live recklessly. I added the City Mayor read the article and wrote me to say that he is a fan of Chicken Soup books, and congratulated me.

So they printed this up in the newsletter. I had to laugh.
